The 'print' command writes a PostScript file for the current document.

Doc cannot read arbitrary PostScript.  However, it can read graphics
files created by several other tools that just happen to use
PostScript-compatible file formats.  Specifically, it can read idraw
drawings and files generated by Jeff Poskanzer's ppmtops and pgmtops
tools.

    ... not seeing any documentation on DOC ...

InterViews 3.0-beta includes a man page for doc.
