You can do this on a EISA or MCA machine, so the doco says. I think SYSINI.TXT (or SYSINI2) has some stuff on this and there was also some stuff in Interrupt Sharing on OnLine. Basically, forget it. I think it is hackable. I have done it in DOS on non-MCA machines but you have to hack your coms cards IRQ output line - not pretty. I did it on a multi-port card so it was easy to set up. But basically no, unless you are one of the four people with an EISA or MCA machine. +-------------------+-----------------------------------------+ | Glenn Wallace | Net: drift@qut.edu.au | | Drift Project | Fone: +61 7 837-7126 Fax: +61 7 221-0173| | Telecom Australia | Snail: 11th Flr 144 Edward St., | +-------------------+ Brisbane, Q4000 Australia | | | | Disclaimer - The opinions expressed must be my own, because | | Telecom is a statuatory authority and as such, | | is not capable of having opinions. | +-------------------------------------------------------------+
