Hello,

Here's my problem: Zenith Z-248 w/6Mb extended memory comes up under
Win3 in Real mode and no extended memory.

While scanning through the active messages in this group I've come
across topics concerning himem.sys, smartdrv.sys and ontrack software.
Unfortunately, all references were questions and no useful info.  I 
also saw the note about updated .sys files on cica.cica.indiana.edu,
but no refs as to what they do/fix.

I have no problems on a similar system that has no 120mb HD or 4mb RAM
card.  I've removed the 4mb card and had no luck.  I removed dmdrv.sys
from config.sys in an attempt to make the pc think that the bigger
drive was not there and also had no luck.

I haven't been able to get through to MS tech support due to busy
phone lines (suprized??).

I sure would appreciate any helpful information and will summarize
e-mail responses.
