	Hi, win3'ers,

        I'm planning to build a  MIDI  application  on  Windows,  and  was
wondering  if  there  is  a  PD  or  Shareware (or OtherWare) version of a
MPU-401 MIDI interface driver.  I think I'd need to buy the DDK otherwise,
(would  I?)  and  would  prefer to consolidate my investment on SDK first,
rather to spend another $500 for a driver (I'll buy it  some  time  later,
but let me breathe a little :-))

	So if there's something available, I could sort of negotiate - if
there's the need for it - its purchase.

	Any ideas?
