Not only did we go with it, we are running with it. So far the program has been performing flawlessly. It even fixes a problem we have been having with FrameMaker 2.1X. Some of you may have read/heard that changing the keyboard focus from the main document window to one of the other Frame windows, like the Paragraph Format window, causes the insertion marker, or selected text, to no longer be there. Many a time I would click on the border of the Paragraph Format window only to lose the document's insertion marker. It was very fustrating. Then along comes olvwm and the problem went away. I can now operate inside of the various format windows, when I don't have to change any text from the keyboard, and I won't lose the insertion marker or selected text. If I have to enter a value, I can select the window to change keyboard focus and I won't lose the insertion marker or selected text. Nine out of ten times under olwm I would and it was a real pain to get it to work correctly. If you are using FrameMaker, it is highly suggested that you bring up olvwm. You will be very happy that you did. We are around here. -- harvard\ ucbvax!uwvax!astroatc!ftms!brown rutgers/ INTERNET: spool.cs.wisc.edu!astroatc!ftms!brown
