I think that this might be an old subject, but it is new to me.
Where can I get information about tiff, bitmap, etc.. formats
for display in X. I would like to edit images on the mac, and
then display then in X. I would like information on formats,
source code, etc. This is mainly due to an application specific
language, (not C) running under windows.
