Some people here are still using IBM mainframes...they would like to be able to connect to them as a 3270 type terminal. Well, I assumed that you could just use xterm with the tn3270 package to do this in X11. No luck. This is what I did: xterm -e tn3270 _site_name_ It will connect to the machine, but the keymap is not correctly set for the Sparc keyboard we are using. Yes, I have the /etc/map3270 file in place, but it doesn't seem to be set for a sparc keyboard...it does have an xterm entry by the way. Has anyone done this with success on a sparc? Could you please email me the /etc/map3270 file you are using? Any information would be appreciated!
