Another idea you might try is to buy braille
sheets that fit exactly into the box.  You could put a label on the
oustide, and then the sheet on the inside of the box,
where the print one isnormally.
There is a company, in Ohio, which I think
now calls itsellf Wissian Specialties that
seels these.  This firm was previously called
Braille Gift Service.
If anyone needs the address, I will try to find
