Your story reminds me of another:

A friend of mine decided to go shopping.  So she harnessed up her
dog and went to a major department store.  She picked up a few
things she needed, pad for hem and left.  When she got on the bus
the driver said,  "You had better check and see what your dog has
in his mouth!"  So she stepped off the bus, reached down and found
a bra in her guide's mouth.  He must have picked it up at the
store.  She laughed and laughed, and so did everyone else.
