My fathers company, Techport USA used to import/export Peurreaux amps, Belles amps, I think Vpi turntables (maybe) and Gale speakers, I have a peurreuax SM-2 Preamp, and a Peurreaux 2150B amp, both of which are in for repair at the time, so I am forced to use an onkyo preamp, and a Belles II power Amp. I do not like the belles very much at all, the sound is fairly good, and the imaging is about the same as the Peurreaux, but it has the problem of Clipping at about one Quarter volume. It is also the stupidist size amp I have ever seen. This is being listened through two gale prototype speakers, and a homemade Subwoofer.
