It's legit--I've a professional machine, and want to dupe original recordings onto two home model DATs didgitally. I read where a studio trying to do this by daisychaining the DATs couldn't do it, and had to sell the models they had and buy the switchable SCMS system on a pro model. I've got the Panasonic SV-3700, and want to buy two Technics SV-DA10's (the home version of the Panasonic, without the switchable SCMS) instead of one Panasonic. Thanks in advance, Chap.
