We are developing a database application using ORACLE and SQL*FORMS 3.0
and are currently exploring various mechanisms of implementing some
sort of inter-application communication mechanisms/procedures which
allow messaging between a forms based application and other program(s).

Has anybody out there had any experiences with this sort of application
requirement ? Does SQL*Forms 3.0 allow receiving messages from an external
source ? I would appreciate any response from you folks.

If there is  sufficient interest in this, I'll summarize and post. :-)
