Here's the information regarding the Canon document describing this product: Canon RS-232C Interface Kit for Fax-L 770 Technical Speciafications Publication H-IE-229, Canon 1990, Printed in Japan. I suggest you call your local Canon subsidiary. The local guys were very helpful.
