If it's not, will someone suggest group(s) that are. I am working on the DTE side of a hardware interface to an AUI. I know that there is really very little involved in this interface, but I have never done one before and I would really like to get it right the first time. I am especially interested in grounding/shielding/isolation issues. I have some application notes, but I was hoping to find some additional documents/books that could warn me of pitfalls, and recommendations on how to build the most reliable interface. I do have the latest IEC/ISO 8802-3 specification on the 802.3 standard. I have seen some designs that add isolation transformers on the DTE side of the AUI, is this a good idea? Thanks in advance, Boyd Stere
