Our group works in 3-D object recognition
and other areas of computer vision, including
CAD-based computer vision.

We are currently using SDRC IDEAS for
object modeling and other CAD applications.
However, before renewing our license we
would like to investigate CAD systems used
by other computer vision researchers.

We would be very grateful for suggestions/
recommendations/evaluations of other CAD
packages *which run on Sun sparcstations*
(esp., but not solely, from the point of 
view of researchers in object recognition 
and other areas of computer vision).

Please excuse me if this posting does not
really belong in this newsgroup.
