Hmmmm.  These would make GREAT GIF files!!!!!   :) :) Especially 640x480x256 !

I wonder if it is possible to "simulate" a red-green pair from a 2D image?

woops....  I just realised that 256 colours would not be required for an image
           with only red and green colours.....  :)
