     Don't wait for Swan's book; buy 'Programming Windows', by Charles
Petzold, available at all fine bookstores :-)  The code in written in C,
but if you know C, it isn't that hard to convert to Pascal, and the book
is filled with ALOT of info.  Good stuff.
