What legalities are in place governing the digitization of images for replication or inclusion in demonstrations, and likewise, what legalities exist covering digital sampling of audio (songs/speeches/etc) ? This is _NOT_ usually my territory, but I want to make sure my behind is behind something before we go scanning & sampling lots of stuff. Please reply directly to me (dwhite@dsys.ncsl.nist.gov 129.6.50.1), and thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Douglas White, National Institute of Standards & Technology Bldg. 225, Rm A216, Gaithersburg, MD 20899 dwhite@dsys.ncsl.nist.gov / Voice: (301) 975-2182 / FAX: (301) 590-0932 "The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's foreign territory." - Paul Fix
