I've been following this thread with interest but I might have missed the
following information (articles expire quickly here -- if there was a bit
less *.*.pictures, it might be better! :-).

Paper seems to be a favorite solution.  What font should one choose so as
to maximise legibility for OCR soft- or hardware?
