Keywords: OS/2, serial port, high speed serial communication Message-ID: Date: 13 May 91 16:47:32 GMT Sender: usenet@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (News) Organization: University of Illinois at Urbana Lines: 8 The serial port on my Gataway 386/33 PC does not work reliably with KERMIT under OS/2 1.3 at speeds over 9.6k. The same is true in DOS compatibility box. Under DOS alone, transfers at 38.4 k work fine. Is this a problem with OS/2? Is teher any communication package that can fool OS/2 so that it can run the serial ports at higher speeds? Ignacy Misztal University of Illinois ignacij@orion.animal.uiuc.edu
