I am sorry if this is not the right group for this question.

I am not able to run win386.exe (from windows 2.11) and
it just bombs, without any errors.

I suspect my Adaptec SCSI controller is goofing it up.

When windows is installed, the SMARTDRV.SYS gets installed.
Is that causing some problems?

SHould I be using HIMEM.SYS. I have 4 Meg of RAM (extended).

Any help is appreciated.
