Lines: 25 I am currently trying to source High capacity tape streamers for our Unix systems. I am interested in the WangDat 1.3Gb and 2.0Gb drives and would like feedback from people who have tried this product especially on the following systems. Converget SPC 200/300 ranges running CTIX and Standard PC/AT 386 Machines running PcCTIX. (All machines are basic 386 PC AT systems running Convergents CTIX system, a derivitive of System V Release 3.2). Has anyone experience of these drives in this type of system ? Will I need any special software drivers ? Would anybody recommend a differant type of streamer to use ? Thank you in advance.
