Message-ID: <1991May13.174524.9391@rs6000.cmp.ilstu.edu> Date: Mon, 13 May 1991 17:45:24 GMT Reply-To: ejbehr@rs6000.cmp.ilstu.edu (Eric Behr) Organization: Central Illinois Surfing Club Followup-To: comp.sys.mac.comm Our campus network will soon have a bank of modems on it, for dial-in and -out access. For one reason or another, they will be accessible via IBM 3101 protocol (I'm told it's rather basic). What telecomm software for the Mac has 3101 emulation? I've heard that PCTerm (or is it FTTerm?) does it, but is there a Mac version? Moreover, is there anything that would let us emulate 3101 *over the network* in the following screwy setup: Mac -> Ethernet -> IBM 8209 -> token ring -> modems ??? You can tell I'm completely in the dark, so any pointers will be much appreciated.
