There is _no_ reason that NCSA FTPBIN should not run on an XT. (Speaking as
an NCSA Telnet developer, I guess I should know. :^)  I would be inclined to
agree with Terry- you probably really DO have a memory parity error, or your
XT doesn't like your Ethernet card, which is also quite possible.
