I am well aware that it takes about 45-60 seconds to start. Presumably you'll only go through that once, and once you're in AMax mode you won't switch back until you're done. I don't find 1 minute that annoying, but then again I don't use AMax regularly. The legalities are minimally in a grey-area of the law. I'm certainly not qualified to debate them.
