Hmmm.. When I tried with 1 MB it gave 640 kb and it worked fine...???

In the software version 1.1 there indeed is a bug when using the serial
port with modem. If you use Procomm and 8 databit it works fine but using
7 databits doesnt't work properly...maybe it is the same bug that causes
your problem...

Well the latest release is Version 1.27 -3/91 and the bug above explained
(and others) is fixed. There is also included a support for monochrome EGA
and VGA. These emulations work with many programs but not all...

If you are a registered user You should get the update automatically...
but maybe you should contact vortex for shore...
