As far as the files I find on FTP sites like tybalt, the .bsq extension means ShrinkIt+Binscii. I've never actually seen *just* a SQueezed file (Binary II, yes, but not SQZ'd). I'm quite happy with =.bsq for ShrinkIt+Binscii, =.bxy for ShrinkIt+BinaryII and =.shk for just plain NuFX archives. Someone proposed =.sdk from shrunk disks, but it doesn't look like that caught on (it wouldn't work if someone mixed files and disks in the same archive, for instance). -- Brian T.
