I have attempted to contact the authors for the last 4 or 5 years and with no
luck, they were is Tuscon originally, but the company carrying the Mac version
of HyperC has no knowledgeof the Apple II version.

I assume it is PD, the CDOS version is. Source is another, I have not heard of
the source being released PD.
