From the testing I've done, if there are up to 35 files in the CDEVS folder, there are no problems. If there are 38 or more, the control panel says there are no CDEVS in the folder and won't open. [stuff deleted] Brendan G. Hoar bh1e+@andrew.cmu.edu Apartment 1 Carnegie Mellon, Inc. 357 Melwood Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15213 (412) 621-8278 I tested this out by putting files into the CDEV folder. It is true for over 36 files. I had the standard CDEVs, Twilight (which I think crashes my system) AlertSound, CDEV.data, Twilight folder, plus I put extra files in there to add to the file count. Any clue from the Apple guys why this is or if this is known? -- ******************************************************************************* Andy Goldstein Internet: ag0514@leah.albany.edu Bitnet: ag0514@albny1vx.bitnet America Online: GOLDSTEIN ****************************************************************************** -- ******************************************************************************* Andy Goldstein Internet: ag0514@leah.albany.edu Bitnet: ag0514@albny1vx.bitnet
