I know that there are SCSI adapters > for the ST, but are there any ESDI adapters? I am currently using a Maxtor XT4380E 480 megabyte ESDI drive with my ST. The adapter is an Emulex MD-21 ESDI <--> SCSI adapter card. This baby cooks...... The driver I use the the Supra V2.6 driver selecting the 'other' for controller and disk type. Works fine, however I can only use 190 megs of the disk for TOS. The rest I have written some special code to use as archiving and other stuff.
