If all you want to do is run DTP in mono from now on, then the easiest thing to do is reinstall the product from the master disks. Be sure to save off anything you want first! Also, you must reinstall while using the mono monitor. DTP doesn't ask you the monitor type, it just figures out what you're using and installs the screen fonts accordingly. If you do this, you'll be able to run in mono, but not in color. If you want to be able to switch between mono<->color (why?????) The first thing that I suggest you do is get G+plus from CodeHead Software. This little gem will allow you to set up a different assign.sys file for each GDOS application that you want to run, and these files can reside anywhere. It also allows you to select the assign.sys file on-the-fly when an application is started. More importantly, G+plus has special support for DTP that automates the switching of the publish.wid file based on the assign.sys file selected. Hope this helps.
