No, there isn't.
It's because the VDI/AES have to be initialized to the new video mode.

On ROM Systems you can call Puntaes() to do a warmboot, there was also 
something about using shel_write to reinit, it used some -1 params,
but I can't find it yet and don't know it it's documented or what.
