Message-ID: <1991May9.124233.1716@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu> Summary: Is the new AT&T Curses with alternate character set support available? Originator: lynch@theory.tn.cornell.edu Keywords: Curses, alternate character set, HP-UX Sender: news@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu Nntp-Posting-Host: theory.tn.cornell.edu Organization: Cornell Theory Center Date: Thu, 9 May 1991 12:42:33 GMT Can someone running version 8 of HP-UX answer this question for me? Is HP-UX version 8's curses the 'new' AT&T curses? This is the version that supports alternate character sets. It is easy to ascertain whether this new version is available by looking for several macro definitions in /usr/include/curses.h which contain 'ACS_' (Alternate Character Set) definitions. Could someone with v8 of HP-UX check this for me? Thanks very much. Tim Lynch lynch@albert.mannlib.cornell.edu Mann Library Cornell University Ithaca, New York 14853
