Summary: Have a Seagate ST-1126N hard drive with coretest access time 22.5ms Keywords: Seagate SCSI coretest Message-ID: <1991May10.171748.9973@ioe.lon.ac.uk> Date: 10 May 91 17:17:48 GMT Organization: Institute of Education, University of London Lines: 11 A friend has a Seagate ST-1126N SCSI hard drive for which CORETEST gives a mean access time of 22.5ms and a data transfer rate of about 480kbytes/s. According to the specifications the access time should be 15ms. A Seagate ST-02 SCSI host adaptor is used. Are these figures reasonable or could there be something wrong here.
