Currently, another group has an Intel RMX system with a multibus backplane. We need to get data from this system's hard drive to a Macintosh IIfx system. Does anyone know what would be the easiest (cost effective) solution to this problem? Also, we have a tape drive on the RMX, and are using that to backup to hard drive. We would like a solution that just allowed us to take the tape's from the rmx, and put them into a reader on the mac, but not sure if the interface/software is available to do that easily. The other option is using Ethernet (FTP or NFS), but not sure if that is available for RMX either. Whatever the solution, it must be fast, as we will be transferring about 60 meg per hour to the mac. (BTW, using the mac to do the collection was ruled out as the RMX station is already in place, and has custom software that would be expensive to remake on the mac). Thanx for you help, Larry (lkelly@oasys.dt.navy.mil)
