Message-ID: Date: 13 May 91 01:04:28 GMT Sender: news@uvm.edu Distribution: comp Organization: Division of EMBA, University of Vermont Lines: 19 Greetings Mac Memory Management Gurus - I'm porting a system from a Un*x platform to the Mac and have had not problems what soever, save for one: memory management. I need a large (~1 meg) application heap, but have no idea how to get it to that size. I have 2.5 meg in my machine but I don't seem to have more than the default 38k in the application heap. How can I make this larger? HELP! I've read the MM chapter of IM, but that hasn't helped. Thanks in advance --- please reply by email to save bandwidth and I'll summarize later if there is enough interest.
