If I've heard correctly, I thought this was being done. No? Y'know, you could do this for other things, too. Take a file, drag it to the mailbox icon (which represents a fake printer driver--assuming, as I say, this is currently OK), and it gets "printed"--actually, of course, the message gets sent.
