There are exceptions to this. I find that my use of VM is mostly keeping a lot of applications open (but not being used). Almost the only time there are disk swaps is when I switch from one program to another. So I haven't noticed much slowdown. I think I miss the 14 megs on my disk more than I miss the extra 8 megs of RAM... When I get a bigger disk, this may reverse. -- Gerald A.
