Here's what I found out. Use at your own risk. Well here's how: Hardware -------- Remove the capslock keytop. There are clips above and below the key (toward tab and shift). Use a paper clip to separate the clips outward, as if opening a mouth. Gently lift out the key assembly. Careful not to lose the spring or other hardware. There's a teensy white piece which "catches" with the gray post. Disassemble, then re-assemble without the white catch. Store in safe place, perhaps tape to keyboard. The key no longer "sticks." Software -------- Use ResEdit to re-assign the key. See chapter 9 of the Resedit manual by Alley and Strange. Be Careful!! - Rob -- -- Robert A.
