All is found by: disk -i -l Wren8 /dev/rsd2c the label Wren8 was never seen again. Instead 'Seagate ST41650' I then mounted the disk to my NeXTslab-2.0 with: mount /dev/sd2a /opt The adaptive performance is very good for 3600 rpm, but the Elite was 1.5 times better at 5400 rpm. I have to take the disk back to Rorke Data tomorrow......sob.......
