Does the NeXT printer handle legal and/or envelope size paper? Summary: Yes, and yes, although envelopes may be sealed shut by the heat used in the printing process or may gum up the works. 2. Does it support manual feed? Summary: Yes. 3. Are there cheaper toner cartridges available than the ones sold by NeXT? Summary: Yes, the same cartridges that are used in Apple LaserWriter II series will work. Someone mentioned recharged cartridges, but I have personally had problems with consistency from batch to batch when used in Apple printers. 4. Can the NeXTstation be purchased with zero RAM and no hard drive (e.g., with the intention of using 4 Meg SIMMS, 80ns, normally sold for Macs and buying a 600 or 1200 Meg third-party drive)? If so, can such a system be fully configured from the Release 2.0 (or 2.1?) floppies set? Summary: No and yes.
