     Well, I never thought I'd be posting one of those "Gee, the Email
doesn't seem to be working, so I guess I'll have to post it" articles, but
the Email really does *not* seem to be working, so I guess I will.

     Steve, there seems to be some incredible delay in the Email between
you and I.  I got both of your messages, but not until at least a week
after they were sent, so something just isn't quite right.

     Still, I'd like to get my kits as soon as possible, now that I
finally have some time to put my machine together.  If we could arrange
this over the phone instead, I'd really appreciate it. Just leave a short
message on my answering machine with your phone number and I will call
you, so that the long distance charges go on my bill, rather than yours.
I'll even send a little extra money to cover the cost of you calling me
to tell me your number.  My number is (818) 705-6870.

     Finally, I'd like to apologize to everyone for having to interrupt
the usual data stream.
