Hello,

I've found the german fraktur fonts on ymir.claremont.edu, but I
have problems to process them with Metafont. The font ygoth gives
me some error messages like

! Strange path (turning number is zero)

The yinit fonts needed mixed uppercase and lowercase filenames which
the UNIX Metafont won't accept. After changing the filenames, I got
an error in yinitj.mf for the letter 'J' which is a copy of 'I'.
Then you get 'Inconsistent equation'.

yfrak and yswab are processed without a problem.

Are these only experimental fonts or do I have some problems with
Metafont ? I'm using MF2.0 on a DECstation, and I don't know if it
was compiled correctly.
