They wanted to have the ability to have their .profile settings propagated to aixterm sessions. (e.g. aliases, PS1, etc). So I added to their .profiles: ENV=~/.profile export ENV ...thinking that this would at least help them when they were creating aixterm windows. But now, of course, their .profiles are run twice everytime they log in (via telnet or at the console). Not a big problem, but some users have very verbose .profiles where there is lots of output that is displayed twice. How do I fix this to make everyone happy? I tried putting the 2 lines just before the exec in the .xinitrc files, but no workie.
