hi there !

maybe someone can help me with my problem:
i tried to modify my x-keymap (X11R4, Esix 386 S5V3) with xmodmap so that i 
can access charcters in combination with the ALT-key. i'd like to use a german
keyboard which uses quite a lot of those ALT-key-sequences (e.g. {, [, \, @).
i've tried with the "keycode" and "keysym" commands, but this works only for
the normal and the shifted status. my ALT-key is bound to "mod1" in the
modifier-map. how can i change e.g ALT-q to "@" ???
