Has anyone used/seen both printers yet?? The Canon is a super portable printer. In terms of quality of output it is in the same league as the DeskJet. It is a lot slower, and its portability makes paper handling a major pain. It doesn't accept font cartridges to my knowledge (??) -- soft (slow) downloadable fonts only. BTW For the Deskjet+ and DeskJet 500 I recommend the IQE Super Cartridge; you may never have to download a soft font again...good company support too.
