Message-ID: <1991May11.160429.18194@msuinfo.cl.msu.edu> Date: 11 May 91 16:04:29 GMT Sender: news@msuinfo.cl.msu.edu Distribution: usa Organization: Computer Science, Michigan State University, E. Lansing Lines: 26 I have a problem when I try to use Lotus 1-2-3 v. 3.1 under Windows. I can multi-task Lotus with other programs (such as Harvard Graphics and WordPerfect 5.1), but when I try to connect to the mainframe (using telnet) and then switch back to Lotus, I can no longer open any files (I get the message "Can't get reservation). My computer is not on a network, and I am not accessing these files when I use the communications program, but Lotus seems to "switch" to network mode since that is the only time you need to worry about "reserving" files. I've tried to contact support at Lotus, but didn't get any solutions. Has anyone else had similar problems with Lotus under windows 3.0. Hardware we are using is a 386sx machine with 4MB of RAM. Any help would be appreciated!
