I'm sure these can be accomplished through some sort of ".ini" or ".pif" file, I just cant figure out how. Please send any ideas or workarounds to my email address below. If I get a substantial amount of mail, I'll compile a large list for the net. 1) How can I tell the notepad to remember my favorite "page setup"? I always set the left and right margins set to 0. 2) How come when I print from the notepad, to a printer that is setup to use the print manager, the "PRINTING" message box remains on my screen for a prolonged period of time? If its going to use the print manager, shouldn't the message box go away immediatly? 3) How can I tell the cardfile program to automatically load a particular card file upon initialization? 4) How can I tell the program manager to remember to remember the current position for all of my group icons? Even if I "arrange icons" and exit with "save changes", it always re-arranges them then next time I fire up windows. 5) When I icon-ize procomm (which I have in my "non-windows" group), its icon is the plane DOS icon, not the "telephone/communications" icon that appears in the non-windows group. How can I set it up so that It icon-izes to the "telephone/communications" icon?
