The Intel processors are actually pretty good. Particurlarly the 386 and above. I suggest that the OS over the chips is usually the problem. BTW, I wonder what makes you think Intel's toys are Brain-Dead? BTW, the MAC operating system is just as Brain-Dead as DOS. I won't go into detail here, possibly by e-mail if you wish to rebut.
