The "PrintScrn" key copies the entire screen to the clipboard.
"Alt PrintScrn" copied the active window to the clipboard.
"Shift PrintScrn" does print the screen. (low resolution only, and if 
you want graphics, make sure that graphics is loaded).

BTW this works with Windows 3.0 on a 386.

Hope this clears up a few questions.
